- 3DICONS3 - THE THIRD ONE
-
- Just in time for the holidays!
-
- Yes, it's me again, bringing to you my third installment of
- my 3D replacement icons - which are designed to look like they
- "push" into the desktop when you select them with the mouse.
- Suitable for use with Neodesk3, Terradesk, DC Desktop, or (when
- used with an Icon resource editor like Codehead's Icon Juggler)
- users of TOS 2.05/2.06, 3.0x, 4.0x, and MultiTOS. Although
- designed for use on a monochrome ST desktop, they will also work
- in ST Medium resolution, a few of the TT resolutions, and
- hopefully (although I haven't tried it yet) Falcon 030
- resolutions.
-
- No imagination has been spared in bringing in a fresh batch
- of icons for the appropriate programs - this time I've included
- icons for the new GENEVA multi-tasking program from Gribnif
- Software (as well as its accompanying Taskmanager acsessory), ST
- Writer Elite, Multi-Writer, Atari Works, Mouse-Ka-Mania, Outline
- Art, Arabesque Professional, German2English, It's All Relative,
- Fonty, MegaCheck, MicroCheck, Storm, D4D, and SpeedoGDOS. I've
- also included icons for MIDI programs like Cubase and Gajits
- Software's family of programs like Breakthru and Sequencer One;
- there's also icons for computer emulator programs like Spectre
- GCR and PC Ditto - I've even included one for ST Xformer! 47
- icons in all. Also included is a .PI3 "snapshot" of my desktop to
- show you how well these icons work when placed on an appropriate
- background (although they will work on a plain vanilla desktop as
- well.).
-
- I'm proud to say that, although some of the icons are
- modified versions of existing ones, I really went to town this
- time to do ones that are complete originals - I hope you do find
- those to be quite good (I'M proud of 'em).
-
- Just like the last two batches, these icons are FREEWARE -
- meaning that they can be downloaded and distributed freely. All I
- ask is that you contact me by E-mail or regular mail and let me
- know what you think of them! Also let me know what sort of system
- you have 3DICONS installed on - I know at least a few TT owners are
- using them out there........
-
- As for me - well, me and my 4-meg 1040STe have been plugging
- merrily away for the last year or so - the last week or so being
- in multi-tasking mode! Yes, I got curious and picked up a copy of
- Gribnif's Geneva program, and so far I found it does everything
- it says - and more! If there was ever a program that can really
- add power and productivity to an Atari system, Geneva is it -
- it'll be well worth your while to check it out. Now I'm only
- waiting for Neodesk4 to come out :)
